Cannot add repositories

I must be doing something wrong but i get an error like this when i try to add an additional repository in yast i get this.

Unknown Error: Downloading metadata failed (is YUM source?) or user did not accept remote source. Aborting refresh.

I am using the ones from opensuse's website. The nvidia one works correctly, but nothing from software.opensuse.org works.

i'm also having this problem, the ati repo is ok, but nothing else. anyone have any ideas? (mine is 10.2 x86_64)

First you can try to use a mirror. A lot of people on SuSE forums reported this problem (I guess you refer to the KDE repository for Opensuse), which is usually resolved selecting a mirror around the world.

are you trying to use Suse's updater?
try out smart updater. While Zen works, I personally think it stinks - but that is my 2 cents

just copy and paste for the version of opensuse you are running,

then
smart update
smart install smart-gui

I looked for mirrors and maybe i am just blind but i wasnt finding any. Do you have a link to a mirror list?
