Can I install the SUSE 9.2 in my IBM ThinkPad 600?

Is the ThinkPad 600 enough to install the SUSE 9.2? The configuration is

PII 300
192MB RAM
20GB HD
Xircom CEM56-100 Network Adapter

I've installed the Fedora Core 3 in it but I don't like it ...

No once you install one type of Linux you can never install any other type ever.

BTW Yes it will work :p

SuSE should run ok on a TP600, but it might be a little slow. I am generally satisfied with it on a TP X20, but it seems slow on that too, that is, if one runs KDE or a similar resource-demanding GUI.

I tried Redhat Enterprise and then Fedora on the X20 and had a lot of problems. It seems that Redhat and its Fedora sibling is not well-suited for laptop use, most especially in regard to power-saving features of the TP.

When you install, be sure to choose the disable-ACPI install. These older TPs run best on APM. ACPI and APM do not get along well, so if you choose the ACPI install, none of your function buttons will work right.
