can i do a full install?

Hi there - I just got my copy of Suse 9.3 professional in the mail - I currently use 9.1 personal with a small windows partition. I am wondering - what would happen if I just did a complete install, and checked everysingle software option? If I just use kde, are there programs I may not be able to use that are aligned with gnome?

If you did a full install you would use up something like 6 gigs plus on your hard drive.

Just choose what you need. Probably multimedia, games...
Gnome is very nice too.

i used to install everything (a bad habit i picked up when using redhat) it is okay to do that of course.. but you end up with so many apps for doing the same function and SuSE tends to run slower..

Nowadays i just install both KDE (as default) and gnome (for messing around) but choose only the apps i need or know about. When the need arrives for something, i get of YOU and it would be the latest edition at the time so i feel it is less hassle as well.
