can't minimally install 9.2 with YaST?
I'm trying to perform a minimal installation of 9.2 on an old Pentium Pro workstation. I plan to use this machine strictly as a Samba-based storage server, so no desktop is necessary.
After YaST starts and it makes its suggestions, I cannot select "minimal installation" from the software submenu. All that are available are the "Default System" options. I tried deselecting everything with the package manager, but all I get are conflicts and errors.
Do I need to perform a manual installation? What else can I be doing wrong? I'm new to SuSe Linux so there's a big chance of idiocy involved.
I'm booting from a downloaded DVD image with ACPI=off and 1024x768 screen resolution, for what that's worth.
