Can't "Enable Auto Login"

Hola,

Just upgraded to opensuse 11 (64-bit).
When i power on the OS, i like to walk away and come back to a logged-in session. Yes, im lazy, but thats what i like!

Unfortunately, the 'Enable Auto Login' doesnt seem to be working.
The OS stops at the login screen and waits for me to log in. Manually.

Im all for security, but NOT for my home PC! :]

Is there a problem with the auto login on suse11.0? )or maybe its just me)

I Checked the kcontrol - System Administration - Login Manager - Convenience tab... the checkbox for 'Enable Auto Login' is selected!

any help would be gappreciated!
Thanks!!

Howdy,

Kde version: 3.5.9 "release 49.1"....

Do you think that could have something to do with it?

And to answer the other post: Yes, i have my username in the field (i've been using suse since roughly 9.1) :]

That did the Trick!!!
Thank you very much for the tip.

How did you discover this? Did you also have a trouble with the suse11 version? Or was it because of something else? :]
