Can't access my Linux box from my Windows machines.

I finally managed to configure the networking on my Suse system. I can now access my Windows machine without any problem but I cannot access the Linux computer from my Windows computers.

I have 4 new items that where added to My Network Places in Win XP and they are:
1-Linux Box (That’s the name I used when I setup the network. If I try it, it says the file does not exist)
2-groups on Samba
3-profiles on Samba
4-Users on Samba (If I try one of those, a password is requested. I never set a password and if I use the root password, it doesn’t work).

chmod the desired directories

You have to chmod the directories which you want other users, like the windows machine, to be able to access.

man chmod

Type at the shell prompt "man chmod" and press return or google "man page chmod(1)".

Thanks everyone for your precious help. I corrected the problem by adding my username to the USERS Shares in the Samba server.
