Broadcom Wireless not working Suse 11.3
I've been using Suse for many years but with my upgrade to 11.3 wireless stopped working. I have an HP Pavilion laptop (dv6000)running Suse 11.3 (new installation) and NetworkManager has the wireless tab grayed out and I can't add a wireless device. I had wireless working on Suse 11.2 on this laptop. I made sure the wireless switch is on.
I installed the firmware and rebooted
sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware
Then I loaded it with:
modprobe b43
uname -r
2.6.34-12-desktop
After running dmesg I see the following snippet
[ 35.965223] Broadcom 43xx driver loaded [ Features: PMLS, Firmware-ID: FW13 ]

I've spent many hours trolling forums and looking for the answers before posting but nothing I've tried has worked so far. Any help would be much appreciated. it's a bit frustrating.
Thank you in advance.
