Bottom tool bar gone from desktop Suse 10.1 Gnome

The bottom tool bar with the dividers for the 4 different sessions and the icons for the closed windows is gone! Everything else is fine? When I minimize and application it just disappears and I can't get maximize it so I end up with multiple copies of firefox open for example which crashes the app after awhile. Any suggestions? thanks

Bottom "bar" is called a panel.
Just right click on a "panel" and you will get a menu to add delete panels, and icons on the panel etc. Thannks for the advice E-
