Banshee disappears when I try to access Amazon mp3

I just installed SUSE 11.4 and wanted to try Banshee for handling purchases from Amazon's digital store. I was told that it would make things easy, since Banshee has a button for Amazon mp3. When I click the button, Banshee disappears from the screen and there is no sign of Amazon. Nothing appears on the "task bar" and if I restart Banshee, it starts fine without a message telling me it is already running. I have done the online update and I am now running Banshee ver. 2 and still get the same symptom. Has anybody else seen this, and how did they solve it.
