ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 issues

Hi all,

I've installed 10.3 GM on my Dell Inspiron 6400 E1505 laptop. Previously I had 10.2 installed(reformatted the drive for 10.3) and working pretty well. ATI driver worked great with Beryl. Now with 10.3 installed, I can't get the ATI driver, any ATI driver for that matter, to work. It seems to install properly but fails on Sax2 configuration. I've tried to do a forced install of the rpm created by the ATI .sh file. I've also tried the --nodeps option on the Mesa driver.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a work around or do we just wait for ATI to release a new driver?

Thanks in advance.
