Question ATI & Mesa Open GL in SuSE 10.1

Hi everybody,

Weird things are happening to my ATI Display driver configuration. I noticed that ATI driver is not running 3D acceleration. When I open ATI Control panel there is the correct display adapter (Radeon 9600 RV350 4150), the correct memory size and BIOS version and also the correct driver version (8.29.06). But Open GL is Mesa. Then I have to go into YAST Hardware, there I have to pretend to change something in display configuration, reboot and there it is, the correct Open GL ATI vers. 2.0.06065 (8.29.6), renderer RADEON 9600 generic. Why and how to change this behaviour ?
