Question any one know the syntax of .sch file (eDirectory)?

i want to extend the schma of eDirectory, i have a sample .sch file, once i have extended the schma using this .sch file, next time i modify some values in .sch file, then wanna extended the schma again, nothing happenning. Then i checked the log file (schema.log), it indicates the object is already existing. Any one know how to modify .sch file then the schema can be updated?
