amule in suse 9.2


Hi.. have u ever tried installing amule http://www.amule.org/ in suse 9.2?

Try Packman for the 9.2 RPM. It's the eassiest way.

Thx for your answer but i have still installled apt-get for suse.... The amule is not in the sources.list... I want to use amule but i dont want to install another package manager.. I am bored with all these things.. I just want the programmee

Packman is an alternative source for software, not a different package management system. For more info check Pete M's post -- J.W.

BTW: There are also some 9.2-rpms on the amule-download-page

Yep...suse 9.2-rpms dont work.. i dont know why but simple fail

Did you also install the wxWidgets-package from the amule-page? the package provided there only works with wxWidgets 2.4, while SuSe ships 2.6.

Thx a lot guys... i ll try it tomorrow but still one more question.. Is it possible to give me the appropriate source for my suse apt-get in order to install the mplayer?
