Alternative GUI file manager

I recently installed SuSe 92. and amd pleased with the outcome.

However, the Konqueror file manager is a disaster- for example trying to examine the properties of a file causes an instant crash.

Is there an alternative GUI file manager anyone can recommend, preferably one that is easy to install?

Thanks- the thought of using a PHP based one occurred earlier. I'll go with your suggestion.
