Alsa sound is, but no OSS sound.

There was sound with OSS, and Alsa (Cedega by default uses OSS, and i played Hitman).
After rebooting there is no sound with OSS,but with Alsa is. Xmms plays my music 50 faster(i don't hear anyfing). Is there any way to check OSS?

P.S
I recently instaledsome packeges like same Cedega.
Mplayer play movies 5 faster with no sound.

you can't run both oss and alsa, as they both control the actual hardware. what you can do howeverf is add an oss emlation into alsa. try "modprobe snd_pcm_oss" and try again. best to use alsa directly though.
