9.1: Pleezee find me a working DVD player?

2.xGhz celeron on p4 board. Pinnacle tv card, slow dialup modem, 40GB hdd, benq cd/dvd r/w combo drive, 512MB ram, 128MB video card-no 3d accelleration. Want to watch dvds. pls recommend s/ware ans source(s). Have tried gcc 3.3.3-41-need to do a core dump error annalysis- couldn't make 1st command work. (newbie) Satisfied with o/s, but don't want to buy dvd player. tks rjp

google for mplayer. There is a guide on linuxquestion on how to install it. Look under Tutorials

Check out this site for info on DVD's and Suse.

This is the site that helped me when i was using Suse.

Follow the instructions exactly and you will have the DVDs working.
