Exclamation 3d Acceleration/OpenGL Problems in Suse 9.3

So, I updated/installed the nvidia drivers from Y.O.U. And then I enabled 3d acceleration. When I was about to close Sax2 I decided to run a "test." As soon as I ran the test the screen went blank and I havent been able to see the gui ever since. Anybody know what I can do? So if I load in level 3 and type startx then screen will just go blank. If anyone can tell me the solution I will greatly appreciate it. BTW: I am new to linux so please give clear instructions and tell me what lines of code to type. Thank You.

In run level 3 you can edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and change your graphics driver from nvidia to nv or you should be able to as root do

nvidia-installer --uninstall

which should set things back to what they were before.

Well once I delete the Nvidia drivers then should I just download them again. I really need the 3d Acceleration. What can I to make it work?

You can try to run the manual installation procedure:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/sup...taller-HOWTO#1
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d..._1.0-7667.html

Another hint: don't run the test
I had some trouble with the sax2 test, but 3D support is just fine (no nvidia driver however!).
