10.2 and multiple nics

so i upgraded my DRBL box in my shop from 10.1 to 10.2 mainly because I was expereincing some problems and had already loaded 10.2 on my HP laptop. It seemed pretty stable to me so I figured why not.

Now when I run the DRBL set up it only finds one nic, after looking into this I see that they changed how NICs are set up in YAST and that little app called knetworkmanager also seems to only allow one network connection to be active.

Needless to say I have wiped the machine and am now reverting back to 10.1

Anyone know how I can get multiple nics to play nice in 10.2?

you could try opening the yast setup and try unticking the box to allow the network manager to manage your connections and tick the box to select the traditional method to manage your connections, then do it all by hand.

the knetwork manager is a little app that runs in the sys tray. If I close the app down it stil does not recognize multiple nics. I already went back to Open SuSE 10.1 instead.
