10.1 Kmail adding e-mail accounts?

Is it just me or has anyone been able to add new e-mail accounts, POP, IMAP, or STMP?

I hit the "add new account" button and nothing other than K-mail or Kontact locking up occurs?

Is there a way around this?

I didn't ask about Thunderbird, I asked about K-mail.

You asked for a way around your problem, and I made a valid suggestion which I have proved as functional for myself. If don't want help, don't ask and don't be obnoxious when someone tries to help in a different way than that you desired. If you wanted a kmail only answer you should have been more specific. I shall not be providing any additional comment.

Guess I should've been more specific than "Kmail adding e-mail accounts?"

I didn't say "I want to set up an e-mail account in 10.1."

I thought it was rude to but in and suggest using something other than what I had a question about. I was pretty specific in my subject I believe.

FWIW, to those that may use Kmail like I do, I fixed it. I turned off the XGL and Compiz.
