Talking New ATI fglrx driver and SuSE 10.1 again


RecentlyI have downloaded the new (8.29.06)ati driver for RADEON 9700(which is my graphic card. The installation went fine and in ATI control panel there is the right version but open GL is Mesa version 1.2(1.5 Mesa 6.4.1) and renderer it says is Mesa GLX Indirect. I have followed the detailed instructions on ATI site, uninstalled the driver, installed it again, but I get the same result. I am very

Did you read carefully the release notes? Does the driver even support your card? I've heard the ATI's newest fglrx driver doesn't work with older cards anymore..
