Mount usb devices suse 9.2 live


Hi,
Right, so my windows xp screwed, and i need to save some files, i need to know how to mount a usb device in sues 9.2 live, and add files to there.

Try 'mount -t vfat /dev/sda /mnt/sda -o rw,umask=0'

Usually the drives are mounted automatically. The above command needs to be adjusted to your needs. Type 'dmesg' after you plugged in the drive to find out which device to use (sda was just a guess). The mountpoint /mnt/sda may need to be created first ('mkdir /mnt/sda'). See 'man mount' for further details.
