kde 3.4 on suse 9.3, kde crash when using xine

When I watch a movie in xine, and fullscreen the video, kde sometimes crashes. I get the crash warning window open up, and I notice the kde taskbar is gone, and if i have windows open the border on top, with the x and minimize/maximise buttons is gone too. To restore things to normal I have to log out of kde and log back in.
I don't think this happened before i upgraded to suse 9.3, has anyone else had this problem? I'd like to fix it if possible. It doesn't happen often, but still, it's annoying,
