Istanbul on SLED 10

Hello everybody,

I have already posted an identical thread on an all suse forum but I am unable to get any help (I guess I am the only one with this problem) [HTML]http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/index.php?showtopic=41415[/HTML].
I hope someone here can help me. I will be very greatful.

After using smart to install istanbul I am unable to use it. I get the following error when it runs

Code:
File "/usr/bin/istanbul", line 33, in ?
sys.exit(main.main(sys.argv))
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/istanbul/main/main.py", line 224, in main
gettext.bindtextdomain(config.domain, config.localedir)
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'domain'
I have tried to complile and install lastest packages for istanbul, gst-python, gstreamer, gst-plugins-base, gnome-python-extras, and liboil (as was suggested at the other site).

I am not a programmer to really know how to get past this. Ill take any suggestions.
