HDMI connection -- anyway to get the AUDIO to the external monitor

Hi there
HDMI connection from my laptop works fine for SUSE 12.3 - however the AUDIO is still playing on the computers AUDIO speakers -- work around is to use the Headphone OUT socket to an AUX in on my monitor but I'd rather do it all through the HDMI connection, Any suggestions -- I've got Amarok and PulseAudio installed.

Cheers
-K

Try
aplay -l

to see if more than 1 soundcard is recognised. If not, get the sound on in alsamixer or whatever
