Unhappy Could Not Find OpenSuse Repository Install from a DVD image

Hello,

I downloaded the ISO DVD image from the OPENSUSE site.

Funny it it was only 108,279kb,the IOS CD's were 5-6 times larger, could this be correct?

I'm installing in a VMware machine under windows and just when the install starts I'm getting the following message:

'Could not find OpenSuse Repository' 'Activiating manual start program'

So this looks like it will us text mode instead of Yast to do the installation. Something seems wrong here.

Any help answering the above questions will be appreciated.

BTW, virtual machine has all the needed hardware it needs including access to the network interface via a virtual NIC.

Thanks.

Nope this is not correct, you got something else somehow;

ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/di.../10.3/iso/dvd/
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/di...n/10.2/iso/dvd

Downloaded the following openSuse-10.3-GM-DVD-i386 4,194,304KB

Still experiencing the same issue:

Could not find opensuse repository...

The virtual machine does have access to the network and the installation of 10.2 worked find using the ISO images from the 4 CD images.

Anyone know if there are individual CD IOS images for 10.3?

Thanks.

Same basic location, one level higher then back down the cd directory;

ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/di...on/10.3/iso/cd
