Authentication failure

Hi,

I am new on this site. I have Internet connection and get mail in my inbox (Evolution), but I cannot send any email, neither as user or as root. My error message is:

"MAIL FROM command failed: Requested action aborted; user not authenticated".

Please, Help!

you need to contact your ISP about the setup. Probably they have a page somewhere... look for outgoing server settings
