Is studio 13.37 2.4 slacko based? And should I run the 2.4 or 64 bit version?
 

I downloaded bothe the 64 bit and 2.4 version of Studio 13.37.

Is this version based on puppy slacko, if so which version?

Also I had some issues with windows 7 after I have run the 2.4 version for two days from a USB (that has been attached and taken out quite a few times).

It was real slow on startup and then the grafics changed.

This was weird. Should I run the 64 bit version instead of the 2.4 one?

I have 2.2 GHz single core laptop PC, 2 GB ARM and 320 GB harddrive (disk). It runs windows 7 now on half of the hardddrive, the 64 bit version OS.

So any ideas why these problem came about?

how many bits is the 2.4 version? 32? if your computer can do 64 bit, that is generally faster unless your RAM is too small. 2GB is a bit on the low side but should run 64 bit OK. these days, i'd recommend at least 4GB. if you can upgrade RAM, soon, i would suggest doing that.

the problems could be from having removed the memory stick before the shutdown was complete. but, it could be almost anything.
