Post You Need to Upgrade

Greetingz!

You're running the "Initial Release" of Solaris, which is seriously lacking in hardware support (comparitivly speaking. You may *really* want to consider downloading the latest release ("Update 9" - Released Sept 2010). Maybe even the latest patch bundle (if your entitlements are up to date).

With that being said, there are currently only seven WiFi devices on the Solaris HCL, your WiFi card isn't listed;

Code:
1. Linksys   	WMP55AG                   PCI
2. Atheros   	AR5005G                   On-Board
3. D-Link   	DWL-G520                  PCI
4. Atheros   	AR5212                    miniPCI
5. Intel   	Pro/Wireless 2100 LAN     miniPCI
6. Intel   	Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG On-Board
7. Senao   	SL-5354MP                 miniPCI
The only WiFi card in the above list "Reported To Work" for Solaris 10 03/05 is the Senao SL-5354MP miniPCI card. You might have had better luck with OpenSolaris, as they seem to support more devices, however the OpenSolaris group was recently shot in the face and left curbside in the ghetto by Oracle (I will admit that OpenSolaris was kinda askin for it).

You can give their last build a shot (or try one of the spinoff projects) by visiting their download page.
