Why Sun not find my 72G hard disk....?
 
i setup up solaris 9 to sun server with 72G hard disk,but it clue to--not find hard disk(my hard disk is new and ok), why? how can use to on SUN server? thanks...

i use 36G label on solaris , it can setup solaris,but 72G use format command on solaris,not find it.why?

You still say nothing about the symptoms ...

Are you running Solaris on sparc or x86 or x64 ?
Is this an IDE or a SCSI or a SATA disk ?
What is the format command showing ?

this hard disk is SCSI ultra320 72G and Server OS is Solaris9 for Sparc .
because this SCSI ultra320 72G not setup solaris ,i try add it to another solaris9, with command format, it show server only one harddisk,if i change to SCSI ultra320 36G,it can
find two hard disk and let me label second hard disk(this my new add one 36G),why? update BIOS ?

There's no bios on SPARC hardware, but openboot.

What SPARC server model is it ?
