Which version or Release should I install on my other PC?

Should I install the Solaris 10 x86 which is the regular release when Sun first came out for Intel CPUs which Im running right now on my PC here in the States, or, should I install the version Solaris 10 6/06 for my other PC in Hungary? Both PCs are Intel P-4 PCs...

So I want to install the one that has MORE hardware SUPPORT...AND MORE SECURITY. Thats all. The new release 6/06 is on CD but have not yet installed it.

Thanks

Operating Systems are not like wines, it's usually the newer the better so you should go with update 2 (6/06) on your other PC.

About security, whatever the version, keep it up to date with security patches.

Alternatively, install Solaris Express, you'll have the latest drivers and latests security fixes already there, but you'll have to upgrade often to keep the system secure, as Solaris Express is non patcheable.

jlliagre,

What version of Solaris are you running? Express or the regular Solaris 10?

Mostly Solaris Express, I have a multiboot allowing me to choose between various Solaris Express and Solaris 10 releases.
