Want to Install Solaris 9 on acer TravelMate 4052LCi Lap Top
i want to install solaris x86 on my acer TravelMate 4052LCi Lap Top . i have the DVDs of Solais and also the Cd's..
But it didn't boot from those and installation can't be made.
any one can help me

And these DVD's and CD's are the x86 platform? It's best to create the x86 boot floppy to start the installation in such situations when dealing with x86 hardware.

yup cd/dvds are x86...... but i donn't have floppy drive... can i do this over the network if yes then tell me the complete procedure and also tell me if i can do this over a USB stick
