tightvnc as different user.

I'm trying to set up TightVNC so that i can access the machine as a user different than root. But for some reason i can't figure out how..

I've edited vncserver, to modify the line
Code:
VNCSERVERS="1:xushi"
And when i try and run vncserver from user root, i get the error
Code:
vncserver: The USER environment variable is not set.
I'm not sure what i'm missing here.. =/
Thanks.

start vnc as other use

start the vnc as other user. When you connect, it will connect as that user.

sorry, i meant to say that when i execute the commend in any other user than root, i get
Code:
vncserver: The USER environment variable is not set.
But i think that's because it didn't like me using
su - myuser
instead of actually logging in with the user.

But, as root it works, as any other user, i get the following error now
Code:
$ vncserver
Couldn't start Xvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.
Couldn't start Xvnc process.

Bump.. =/

Anyone?

It runs fine as root, but not as any other user, complains about the font path.. Not sure what to do.
