spamd

I have a problem with /var/log/spamd.
Its getting very large (39Gb).
I've tried:

Code:
 mv spamd spamd.old; touch spamd
to create a backup and start fresh, but it just keeps on logging to spamd.old

I've also tried:
svcadm restart cswspamd

you need to restart the syslog daemon (I think). Also would be better to configure logrotate.

ok, I'll try that.
btw, I had found some google page that says 'exim' should be restarted, presumably its 'sendmail' on solaris?

edit: it, worked like you said, after restarting svc:/system/system-log:default
thanks.
