I connect to it using Linux/Gnome with the command:
vncviewer xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1 where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address.
When I am presented with the login screen and if I select CDE I get the CDE desktop displayed fine but if I select Java Desktop I get the desktop all black.
