Solaris take much time to boot


I installed solaris 10 in my linux system and takes much time to boot. Also displays warnings. Also , graphics mode does not start automatically it starts only after typing gdm command

You don't provide enough information for anyone to help.

Why did you install Solaris 10 and not Solaris Express or OpenSolaris ?
What is your H/W ? especially RAM size ?
How long is "much time" ?
What are these warnings messages ?

How do you mean "installed S10 in your Linux system"? With VirtualBox? With VMware? How?

Have you tried to type kdmconfig to see if your system can recognize your video settings?

REgarding the rest, I agree with the rest. You are not giving too much info. What is too long? 2 minutes, 10 minutes, "too long" is a relative term I guess.

Also, what kind of warnings are you getting?
