Solaris installation doesn't start

Hi, i've downloaded Solaris 10 and I boot the 1st disk an it just hangs saying Solaris startup system or something like that
Before that it says that he doesn't find my floppy (it's no longer connected so I don't care).

I boot from cd so I doubt it's from HD, should it work if I turn off acpi? How could I do that?

What is your hardware ?
Did you check its support on the Solaris HCL ?

Specs:

Nvidia Geforce 7300 SE
Ethernet Intel PRO/100 VE Network connection
Intel 945G motherboard
C-Media 9880-L
Intel D 2800 Mhz
Both working cd/dvd reader/writer

It works with VMWare...
