Solaris 9 storage info cmd.
 
Hi,

I need to know storage related information (which strage is connected to the system.

if any one knows the commands to know it please post it the version of system is
SunOS 5.9 Generic_122300-54 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440

"format" will give a list of disks and should include their sizes (it's a menu-based program and won't actually format anything unless you tell it to)

hye Dude,

I need to know that the system is connected to which storage. like Hitachi,HP or ....etc

The format command is not giving this output.

Sure it does. Mine say SUN54GB_412798fjkfbsdjk or similar. Maybe I'm not understanding your question?

the command I use is "echo | format"

it should give you output like this:

gumby#echo | format
Searching for disks...done
