The Sun Download Manager verifies the downloaded files.

I don't have the official records, but here are the sums of my copy of 9:

e62502a95319585f419148e09ad19b92 sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-cd1.iso
3e3c56060c678a4b421b2d67cf1d05b1 sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-cd2.iso
fe449cee00d23bef0dfd988e2d007fbf sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-dvd.iso
2e22c538f7f64dc510e871976c78389d sol-9-905hw-installcd-ga-sparc.iso

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 633405440 Sep 25 2006 sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-cd1.iso
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 597032960 Sep 25 2006 sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-cd2.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3104112640 Oct 29 2008 sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-dvd.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 687472640 Sep 25 2006 sol-9-905hw-installcd-ga-sparc.iso

I also have 6-8 ISOs, but they are not named usefully so I don't know which revision they are.
