Unhappy Solaris 11 and WIFI Adapters

I have 5 wifi adapters which is over-kill but I have them anyway. They work for Windows and Linux. Since my Lenovo T540p don't see one of them under Solaris 11, can I safely assume that none of them are compatible and that I am beating my head against a rock? From Oracle website I have found that supposedly only the Atheros AR242x,is compatible. I wanted to try to find one but nope. Searching found nothing that helps.

Needless to say, my laptop with Solaris 11, only sees Ethernet which works just great.

yea you're pretty much sol on wifi drivers. on the version before that it supported a good hand full of wifi hw somehow all of that knowledge on how to use them got drop form the minds of the "intelligent beings" that develop this OS and seemly only one person remembered how to get just that one wifi HW to work. Lost knowledge?
