Solaris 10 x86 Motherboars

I'm looking to build some Solaris 10 x86 systems with the AMD 64 processor. Just wondering what motherboards people have had good luck with. I know the install can be a total pain in the ass and drivers can be hard to come by. Any thoughts would be totally help full. Thanks.

If you want to avoid driver risks, you might consider the new Ultra 20

I got to play around with one for a few days and I have to say that I was very unimpressed. My SunBlade 100s worked better. Not to mention the price, I could build a rocking system for so much less.

Hmm, you must be mistaken, a dual core AMD opteron 64 at 1.8 to 2.8 Ghz is largely outperforming a single 650 Mhz UltraSPARC IIi ...

U20 price starts at $895 ...

I know that on paper the Ultra 20's should totally rock and ok they probably do out perform my SunBlade 100. But the ones I used a few weeks ago in a Sun training center totally sucked. I think you could build the same or better machine for $600. So I was just looking to see if anyone has tryed to build one.

"Totally sucked" looks exagerated, there was perhaps a problem with that machine or its settings ...
By the way, it wasn't a dual core, as U20 with dual cores aren't out yet.

Anyway, my initial answer was about avoiding driver and installation issues, you didn't tell budget was a priority too.
