Solaris 10 + Sata (SiI3112)
 

I'm trying to install Solaris 10 in my SATA disk. The install goes fine until the point of detection of HD, when I receive the msg that I don't have a hard disk (Slack 10.1 works fine in my system).

I googled a bit and found that the controller (SiI3112) is reported to work with Solaris 10, as cited in Sun's HCL site.

The Device Configuration Assistant (pressing ESC immediately after the boot), detects the controller and the disk, but later the install process stops and insists that I don't have a harddisk.

Does anybody know how to solve it?
