Now that Oracle's at the helm, almost all patches require a support contract. Depending on which Update you're running ("cat /etc/release"); If you go thru the registration wizard, there's a place to put your "Service Plan" number in (along with a few other details). You might as well head on over to their website and at least register an account. You get
*nothing* without at least a login now days.
