SMTP open relay


Can someone fill me in on how to block SMTP open relay.

You'll need to expand on a few details.

Do you presently have an SMTP server that's being used as a relay? And if so should it relay traffic for known users or not at all?

Or, do you mean you are receiving mail that's come through someone else open SMTP relay and you want to block receiving it?

In both cases a little more information about what type of SMTP server and exactly what you want to achieve is needed.
