Slice disk Solaris 10

Hi,

Is it possible to do slice disk on same disk with root? The file system using zfs. I want to slice it and format as ufs.

I try on testing server. Unfortunately, the OS is corrupt and cannot boot up. I follow tutorial here.

I have 2 disk only and set as mirror. I not sure can slice same disk or not. Normally from tutorial on the net show only different disk. Please advice.

Thanks.

Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't really understand what you are asking here. Can you try to rephrase it / explain better what is the current situation and what you want to achieve.

I want to reduce root to 100G and create slice on part 4 and 5. Is it possible?

You can't do that. You need to backup, reinstall with the expected layout and restore from backup.
