sar configuration problem

hi,

I have edited cron file of sys as follows,

* * * * * /usr/lib/sa/sa1
50 15 * * * /usr/lib/sa/sa2 -s 00:00 -e 23:59 -i 60 -A

There is no any restriction for sys in cron rules.

When I was expecting a file created under /var/adm/sa/ directory, there was no file under it.

did i miss any part of configuration,

thanks in advace,

BR

You don't say what Solaris version you're using, but for Solaris 10 you have to enable the sar service:
Code:
svcadm enable sar
For older versions edit /etc/init.d/perf.
