Two things here. A reconfigure reboot and cfgadm.
1)
Did you try to create /etc/reconfigure and reboot.
The other way to do this is to go to teh PROM and do a boot -r.
This is so the system recognises new hardware when it boots and I think it modifies the device tree.
2)
You could also try cfgadm and read the man page, (slowly), I had too.
Try
# cfgadm
# cfgadm -c configure c3
because my card was AP_Id c3
Just adding in case its of use.
At one point i was doing this
# cfgadm -lav
# cfgadm -lav -o show_FCP_dev
# kstat -m ssderr
# prtconf -vp
# luxadm probe (to see stuff on the fibre channel.)
