Problem using SFTP on Solaris

Hi,

I need to get a file from one machine to other without actually logging into it using sftp.

On linux machines i've used this command :

sftp root@192.168.1.234:/root/test.txt

This command worked fine.

But i am unable to use the same command on Solaris machines.

I don't want to use these steps:

sftp 192.168.1.234
sftp>lcd /root
sftp>get test.txt
sftp>quit.

Help me regarding this.

Allowing remote access for root is usually a bad idea.

Anyway, you can change this line in /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Code:
PermitRootLogin no
