Hi guys
i have Sunos 5.10
and i am trying to install php and everytime i ran the "make" command to install it i get this error message:
Makefile:91: warning: NUL character seen; rest of line ignored
make: *** No rule to make target `/tmp/openwebmail', needed by `sapi/apache2handler/apache_config.lo'. Stop.
can someone help understand what i can do to make it work
The thing is that i am trying to setup squirrelmail on my v440 sun server.
but i cant get the login page to test if apache can read all file extension .php
So i thought i should install php package which i did whith the "pkgadd command"
i edited the httpd.conf file :
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
i have restarted the httpd
but i am still not able to get the login page for squirrelmail
By the way i am trying to do everything local. as root user

Not sure about what you are installing and from where did you get it.
I suggest you to install instead the Cool Stack 1.2 packages for Solaris 10 including Apache, PHP and much more from here: http://cooltools.sunsource.net/coolstack/
