Patch cluster dry run

Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to produce a 'dry run' result of a patch cluster on Solaris 10 so I can see which patches would be applied.

There doesn't seem an obvious way of doing it.

Cheers,
Steve

The closest way would be using live upgrade.

Unfortunately, that's not an option.

I should probably have specified that this installation is the original Solaris 10 release. I have applied a pretty recent '10 Recommended' patch cluster to the system. Prior to this, it had never been patched at all.

I've needed to add a couple of packages from the orginal Solaris 10 packages since for various reasons and I need to identify the patches that would be applied from the patch cluster to update those components.

Cheers,
Steve
