Other *nix question

It's not about Solaris, but I had to pick one of the three forums to post this in.

Has anyone ever even attempted to install HP-UX on a non-risc machine?

If you purchase an HP-Itanium server, you can get a specialized version of HP/UX 11i for that. The problem is, the Itanium platform is very new, and it doesn't have a strong device compatability set.

You cannot install HP/UX on anything other than an Itanium or PA-RISC CPU.
